SC Ready Testing
Dear Parents/ Guardians,
SC Ready State Assessments for our 3rd-5th grader students is quickly approaching. SC Ready assessments include four days of testing. Students in 4th grade will have an additional day of testing for the Science assessment.
The dates are as follows:

Things to Know:
- Students must finish their assessment before leaving school. This state policy is to ensure test security.
- We will make contact at 1:00 pm if your student is still testing to allow time to make alternate transportation arrangements.
- We will update at 2:00 pm to let you know whether or not they have finished the test. We will finalize transportation plans at this time.
State law prohibits communication devices of any kind inside the secure testing room. This includes cell phones, tablets, smart watches, smart glasses, etc. Please leave all devices at home. Any devices at school will be collected prior to testing and returned after the testing has ended for the day.
If students miss a day of testing, they will be required to make-up the test upon their return as required by the South Carolina Department of Education.
How you can help:
- Students need a good night of sleep before the assessment.
- Please keep things the morning of assessments calm for your child.
- Provide encouragement to your child: You got this! You can do it!
- Please have children at school on time!
